What’s New?

 

This Week @ LPL
  • Homeschool Storytime, Monday, March 20th at 11:15am. The Children’s Department will be offering weekly programs for homeschool families on the first three Mondays of every month from 11:15am-12:30pm. The programs are designed to offer homeschool families the opportunity to have fun and socialize through gaming, crafts, and storytime.
  • Seeds of Spring: L/A Celebration, Monday, March 20th at 5pm. Learn about the importance of native plants, eliminating chemical fertilizers, pollinator gardens, and more. Whether you’re new to gardening or have had a garden your whole life, all are welcome!
  • RESCHEDULED! Parable Path Discussion Project, starting Tuesday, March 21st at 5:30pm. The Lewiston Public Library will host a three-session Discussion Project this spring entitled “What if community is the key to our resilience?” facilitated by Samara Cole Doyon.
  • Create, Experiment, & Discover, Thursday, March 16th at 4pm. This week’s project is Homemade Stickers!

 

Next Week @ LPL
  • The State of Maine’s Loons, Wednesday, March 29th at 11am. Learn from Maine Audubon conservation staff about loons in Maine and their efforts to protect them.
  • Recycled Graphic Novel Picture Frames, Wednesday, March 29th at 5pm. We will be hosting a program where children will be able to create a decoupage picture frame using pages of discarded graphic novels and comic books.
