What’s New?
  • New Library Hours Begin June 29th. Our operating hours are changing and we will no longer be offering “Summer Saturdays” between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
  • Last Chance to Submit Book Reviews. Kids have until May 31st to submit their book reviews for a chance to win one of 8 brand new bikes, thanks to the Masonic Bikes for Books program!

 

This Week @ LPL
  • Friends of LPL Summer Book Sale, happening all Summer. The Friends of the Lewiston Public Library are hosting a mini book sale in the lobby of the library. All items are 10 for $1 or $0.10 each. Library branded bags will also be on sale for $3 each.
  • Preschool Playdate, Thursday, June 1st at 3:00pm and Saturday, June 3rd at 10:30am. Preschoolers and their families are invited to stop in during our Preschool Playdates to engage in imaginative play and build friendships. A variety of toys, games, and crafts, including a play kitchen with felt food, will be available during all sessions.
    • Please be aware that our Saturday Playdate hours will change starting in June. Saturday Playdates will be from 10:30am to 12:30pm starting June 3rd.
  • Teen Yoga for Stress, Thursday, June 1st at 4:30pm. This series is designed to support teens in building skills they can use to relax, manage stress and connect with each other.

 

Next Week @ LPL
  • Homeschool Hangout, Monday, June 5th at 11:15am. The programs are designed to offer homeschool families the opportunity to have fun and socialize through gaming, crafts, and a story time.
