What’s New?
  • Disability Pride Film on Kanopy. Established in recognition of the Americans with Disabilities Act, Disabilities Pride Month is celebrated each July to honor the stories of those with living disabilities.

 

This Week @ LPL
  • ArtVan in Kennedy Park, Monday, July 17th at 3pm. ArtVan will be providing hands-on creative art programs this summer in Kennedy Park for children ages 5-14 (ages 5-8 must be accompanied by an adult) on Mondays. All of their projects aim to inspire art-making with a variety of materials for self-expression, personal growth, and fun.
  • The Honey Exchange, Wednesday, July 19th at 5:30pm. The Honey Exchange will be showcasing a traveling observation hive. There will be a honey tasting at the end of the presentation.
  • Sparks’ Ark, Saturday, July 22nd at 11am. Come see, learn and interact with Sparks’ Ark’s amazing animals in Callahan Hall.

 

Next Week @ LPL
  • Art Walk, Friday, July 28th at 5pm. At this month’s Art Walk, the Library will again host the work of Lewiston High School students who are responding to the prompt of “I wish my teacher knew.”
