- We’re Hiring!
- The Lewiston Public Library is seeking friendly and assertive individuals with excellent customer service skills to work at the library public service desks as Part Time Library Assistants.
- The Building Monitor is responsible for monitoring the safety and behavior of visitors inside the library building and on library grounds. They represent the Library as a familiar, friendly face that is frequently visible to patrons in all parts of the building.
- Summer Reading T-Shirts for Sale! Summer Reading t-shirts are available to purchase at the first-floor service desk. Adult shirts are $15 and children’s shirts will be $10. Various sizes are available while supplies last.
- The Library will be CLOSED on Wednesday, June 19th in observance of Juneteenth. We will reopen at 9:30am on Thursday, June 20th.
- Interlibrary Loan Temporarily Suspended. Due to an issue with our contracted book delivery service, the Maine State Library has made the decision to turn off materials requesting between libraries beginning last week, which means that no new holds can be placed and existing holds will not be fulfilled.
