- Films Focused on the Conflict in Ukraine — To provide further context on Ukraine and its tense history with Russia, Kanopy has carefully curated a collection of over 25 documentary and narrative films focused specifically on this country and region.
This Week at LPL
- Teen Library Ambassadors meeting Wednesday, March 16th @ 3:30pm (Virtual) — Do you want to plan your own program or event? Is there a manga series you think we should have? Do you want to run a gaming tournament? Do you like writing reviews, taking photos, or making videos? The library needs you!
- Great Falls Forum with Earl Brechlin, Thursday, March 17th @ 12pm (Virtual) — In his Great Falls Forum talk, Brechlin will share some of his favorites from more than 300 people, places, things and events that have made Maine what it is today.
- Graphic Novels to the Rescue, Saturday, March 19th @ 11am — Activities include making a comic strip, cape, and mask. We’ll also be playing the “Make Your Own Graphic Novel Character or Superhero” game. Kids can pose with our cityscape backdrop and use props for photos, then take a free graphic novel home after!

- Tough Times with the Museum of Bad Art, Monday, March 21st @ 5:30pm (Virtual) — Art has always helped get us through difficult times. In this presentation, the Museum Of Bad Art explores some of the ways artists react to disasters small and large, real and imagined.
