- The Lewiston/Auburn Community Read Begins! — Let’s come together through reading, where everyone in the community reads the same book—you, your teacher, local firefighters, your friends, the Mayor, your dentist —everyone! It’s the annual Lewiston/Auburn Read!

- Tea Party and Book Discussion, Tuesday, May 10th @ 4pm — Join us in Callahan Hall (3rd floor of Lewiston Public Library) to enjoy a cup of tea and talk about our favorite moments in Front Desk. Everyone will leave with their own glitter pencil. All ages are welcome! No registration required.
- The Art of Letter Writing, Saturday, May 14th @ 11am — Join us in Callahan Hall for a more formal way to connect with others through the art of letter writing. Write a letter to a family member, to thank someone, or make a difference in the world! All supplies provided, including postage for one letter per person and addresses provided for local nursing homes. This event is for all ages!
- Front Desk Trivia Night, Wednesday, May 18th @ 4:30pm (virtual) — Grab some snacks and get ready to be quizzed! Gather your friends and family around any device that can connect to the internet to play our quiz game.

- Poetry Express Kick Off with MaineTrans.Net, Friday, April 29th @ 6pm (virtual) — This community poetry reading, hosted by the Maine Humanities Council and the Maine State Library, will use Maine poetry to explore themes of gender euphoria, a world without gender, and peace for trans people in Maine.
- Book Boxes : Rainforest Adventure — Free activities and books for kids to keep!

- Make Art with ArtVan!, Wednesday, May 4th @ 3:30pm — ArtVan is a mobile art program that brings hands-on creative art opportunities for self-expression, personal growth, and fun. All of their projects aim to inspire art-making with a variety of materials to explore.
- Teen Tabletop RPGs, Thursday, May 5th @ 4pm — Supplies will be provided – just bring yourself and your creative mind! No previous RPG experience is required. This program is intended for teens ages 13-19.

- Great Falls Forum, Thursday, May 19th @ 12pm (virtual) — Our next Great Falls Forum will feature moderator Judith Meyer, Executive Editor for the Sun Journal, Kennebec Journal, and Morning Sentinel, alongside David Chittim of the Androscoggin Historical Society, and Steve Collins, State House Reporter for the Sun Journal, with a talk entitled “175 Years of Recorded History—Through Journalism.”
