What’s New? 
  • ILL Requesting Returns. The process to turn everything back on is not instantaneous, so it may not be until the afternoon of September 3rd that you will once again have the opportunity to make requests.
  • Lewiston Public Library is Hiring.
    • Lending Services Librarian: This full time position is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Circulation/Lending Services Division and is a member of the library’s leadership and management team.
    • Adult Services Library Technician: The full time library technician should have a high level of computer and technology literacy to include social media, newsletters and website development/maintenance. Responsibilities include planning and executing programs and creating media and static displays of information and presentation materials for on-going and up-coming programs. 
    • Building Monitor: This part time position  is responsible for monitoring the safety and behavior of visitors inside the library building and on library grounds. They represent the Library as a familiar, friendly face that is frequently visible to patrons in all parts of the building.

 

This Week @ LPL
  • Baby Sensory Playtime, Thursday, September 5th at 10am. Babies and their caregivers will have the opportunity to interact with a variety of sensory toys and socialize with other families with young children.

 

Next Week @ LPL
  • Teen Art Club, Thursday, September 12th at 4pm. Teens can work on any artistic project they wish. Supplies will be free and available for all teens.
