What’s New? 
  • What’s New at the Library? Welcome to an exciting new way to enjoy the Lewiston Public Library! The library adds many new books, movies and CDs each year. We’re proud to now offer you weekly email alerts showing you the newest materials added to our collection each week.
  • Find your polling location. Ready to vote? Election day is this Tuesday, November 5th. Find your polling location below.
  • The Library will be closed next Monday for Veterans Day. We will reopen at 9:30am on Tuesday, November 12th.
  • New Display in the Children’s Room. Check out the new display in the Children’s Department full of books in a series featuring time periods, locations, occupations, and objects You Wouldn’t Want to be a part of today.

 

This Week @ LPL
  • Teen & Friends Magic: the Gathering Club, Thursday, November 7th at 4pm. Bring a friend and play against one another or other challengers. New players will be able to receive guidance on how to play and get a chance to receive their very own deck to keep and take home. The Magic: the Gathering club welcomes players of all skill levels. 
  • Alphabet Ribbon Keepsake, Friday, November 8th at 10am. Caregivers and their young children will be able to create a personalized alphabet tile keepsake of their child’s name using scrabble tiles and ribbon. This activity is recommended for caregivers with children ages 0- 6 years old.

  • ArtVan, Wednesday, November 13th at 3:30pm. ArtVan is a mobile art program that brings hands-on creative art opportunities for self-expression, personal growth, and fun. All of their projects aim to inspire art-making with a variety of materials to explore. 
  • Teen Art Club, Thursday, November 14th at 4pm. Teens: looking for a place to work on your art? Look no further than our Teen Art Club! Teens can work on any artistic project they wish. Supplies will be free and available for all teens.

 

Mark Your Calendar
  • Great Falls Forum, Thursday, November 21st at 12pm. Join professors John Baughman and Michael Sargent of Bates College in a consideration of the twists, turns, outcomes, and impacts of the 2024 elections.
