What’s New?
- Hobby Month Display. January is National Hobby Month! Whether you are looking to start a new hobby or to add to your current skills, you can stop by the book display in the Children’s Department’s nonfiction section to find books about a wide variety of hobbies.
- The library will be CLOSED on Monday, January 20th in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. We will reopen at 9:30am on Tuesday, January 21st.
- READy to Grow: LPL’s Campaign for Kids, The Library aims to modernize the Children’s Department with a timeless, engaging design tied to Lewiston history. Help us transform the Children’s Department into an inspirational destination for kids and their families. Every gift counts. What can you give for Lewiston’s families today?

- CareerCenter Resume Workshop, Tuesday, January 14th at 11am. The CareerCenter will provide professional resume writing and job connection assistance on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Teen Yoga for Stress, Wednesday, January 15th at 3:30pm. Practice will focus on simple breathing and movement.
- Great Falls Forum, Thursday, January 16th at 12pm. An Introduction to Maine’s Current Poet Laureate. Join Maine Poet Laureate Julia Bouwsma as she introduces her poetry by presenting poems from her books, Midden and Work by Bloodlight, as well as newer poems from projects in progress.
- Teen Art Club, Thursday, January 16th at 4pm. Teens: looking for a place to work on your art? Look no further than our Teen Art Club! Supplies will be free and available for all teens.

- ArtVan, Wednesday, January 22nd at 3:30pm. ArtVan is a mobile art program that brings hands-on creative art opportunities for self-expression, personal growth, and fun.
