The Lewiston Public Library will host Master Food Preserver Claire Schreiber for an interactive class, Learn How to Make Jam, on Monday, September 22nd from 5pm to 7pm in Callahan Hall.


Unlock the secrets of delicious, homemade jam guided by Cooperative Extension Master Food Preserver Claire Schreiber. Learn the basics of canning and food preservation using common household supplies. This free class is recommended for ages 18+. Due to limited space, registration is required to attend. Claire Schreiber has been a Master Food Preserver with the UMaine Cooperative Extension since 2018. She lives and works in Brunswick, ME.
