Maker Monday

The Lewiston Public Library’s monthly crafters’ meet up is continuing into the summer as part of the Summer Reading Program. Maker Monday occurs every first and third Monday that the library is open from 4-6:30pm in the Couture Room. The summer dates are June 1st, June 15th, July 20th, August 3rd, and August 17th.
The purpose of this program is to allow adults a space to connect and create together to foster community and allow crafters to learn from each other without barriers. Participants can bring a DIY or art project with them or make use of library-provided supplies to express their creativity. Participants may show up at any time between 4 and 6:30pm, and crafters of all skill levels are welcome to attend.
Participating in Maker Monday can count towards LPL’s Summer Reading Program bookmarks, which allow patrons to earn raffle entries by logging instances of reading, making, and exploring. Summer Reading bookmarks will be available at Maker Monday. Please contact Lending Services at the Lewiston Public Library for any more information at 207-513-3134 or
