Learn How to Dehydrate Foods

Join us at the Lewiston Public Library for an interactive class, Learn How to Dehydrate Foods, led by master food preserver Claire Schreiber. This free class will meet on Monday, August 10th from 2 to 3:30pm in Callahan Hall.
In this class you will learn about the principles of food dehydration, the materials and supplies required, and how to safely dry your own foods at home. You’ll also have a chance to snack on some dehydrated samples made by Claire!
This class is recommended for ages 18+. Participation in this program counts toward Adult Summer Reading goals. No registration is required to attend.
