Masquerade Costume Workshop
Join us on Thursday, September 10 from 4-6pm in the Lewiston Public Library’s IDEA Lab to share costume inspiration and craft your own mask to wear to the Edgar Allan Poe Masquerade Ball on October 17. Participants can drop by anytime during this event to decorate a mask using provided supplies and brainstorm what else they’d like to wear to the ball.
The purpose of this program is to prepare participants interested in dressing up for the library’s Edgar Allan Poe Masquerade Ball, occurring October 17 at 7pm. The ball will feature waltzing and other Victorian dancing as well as themed refreshments and games.
The costume workshop will provide various mask making supplies, including various mask bases, paint, rhinestones, pearls, and feathers. Participants are welcome to bring any supplies they wish to use in addition to those provided. It is a free program open to participants ages 13 and up.
