Our final speaker for the 2012-2013 Forum season is David Spillane, Director of Planning and Urban Design at the firm, Goody Clancy. Not only has David played a key role in the City of Lewiston’s Riverfront Island project, he has also been involved with several urban redesign projects nationally involving waterfronts. He plans to show us how lessons learned elsewhere can be applied right here in Lewiston.

This Great Falls Forum event will take place in the Library’s Callahan Hall from 12 noon to 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 16th. All Forum programs are free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring a brown bag lunch or to take advantage of the Forum’s partnership with Guthries Cafe and order from their menu in advance of the presentation; bottled water, coffee and tea will be available at the Library.

The Great Falls Forum is co-sponsored by Bates College, the Lewiston Sun Journal and LPL. For more information contact the Library’s Adult Services Desk at 513-3135.
