November is National Novel Writing Month! Calling all young writers: Join us for NaNoWriMo! This year, we are going VIRTUAL: Zoom write-ins, writing kits that we’ll send to your house, and writing fun on our social media pages. Writing groups are available for elementary, middle, and high school students. Check out our website for information about how to register for your LPL team on the NaNoWriMo website.
Join LPL staff for Book Chat: a conversation about what we’re reading, watching, and listening to on Facebook Live. Make suggestions, share your thoughts, find resources, and get personalized recommendations from our librarians! Our last book chat was all about Horror & Mystery. You can watch last week’s recorded broadcast and follow along with the list of titles we mentioned.
LPL Kids is excited to offer Take & Make kits designed for preschool ages! These kits will include activities for young children who are working on fine motor skills, scissor skills, ABC’s, 123’s, shapes, colors, and more!
