Showtime Steve
Get Ready for Showtime Steve!
The Lewiston Public Library will be hosting Showtime Steve for The Human Variety Show in Callahan Hall on Saturday, July 13th at 11AM for all ages.
Join us for this high-energy performance with show-stopping stunts. Come and see Steve juggle everything from shoes and car-keys to machetes and balloons. He will dazzle the room with his 100-year-old Houdini rope escape, fit his entire body through a folding chair, manipulate LED light props in the dark, and balance a ladder (and other dangerous items) on his chin.
Participation in this drop-in event counts towards the Library’s Summer Reading program.
The 2024 Summer Reading program at Lewiston Public Library runs from Monday, June 24th until Friday, August 17th with the theme of Read, Make, and Explore. We are encouraging participants not only to read or listen to books but also make a new craft or recipe or explore a favorite place in our beautiful city or a new landmark in our wondrous state.
Showtime Steve is free, open to the public, and no registration is required.
The Lewiston Public Library is located downtown at 200 Lisbon Street at the corner of Pine Street. More information on summer reading programs is available by contacting the Lewiston Public Library at 513-3133 or LPLKids@lewistonmaine.gov.
