Great Falls Forum: Immigration Today

The 2025-2026 season of the Great Falls Forum continues Thursday, November 20th, featuring Susan Roche, Michael Kebede, and Mana Abdi with a panel discussion entitled “Immigration Today.” This free, public program will take place from 12 noon to 1 PM in Callahan Hall at the Lewiston Public Library.
Susan Roche is the Executive Director of the Immigrant Legal Advocacy Project in Portland. She started as the organization’s first staff attorney in 2000 and became Executive Director in 2013.
Michael Kebede is the Policy Director of the ACLU of Maine in Portland. He joined the ACLU of Maine in 2019 as a policy counsel in 2019 and became the Policy Director in 2025.
Mana Abdi is serving her second term in the Maine House of Representatives, representing District 95 in Lewiston.

This program is a bring-your-own, brown-bag lunch event. Coffee and bottled water will be available on site at the library.
