ASTROLOGY 101 WORKSHOP

Registration is now closed because we have reached the 12-participant maximum for this event.

The Lewiston Public Library will host an Astrology 101 Workshop on Monday, February 6, 2023, from 3:30 to 5:30 pm in The Jeanne Couture Room. Kate Sheridan, a.k.a The Laundress, will be returning to Lewiston Public Library after her successful previous Tarot 101 Workshop. This workshop is free and open to both teens and adults.

Let’s talk Astrology! This workshop will provide a basic history and overview of western astrology, including the twelve zodiac signs, the four elements and three modalities, the ten traditional planets, and the five major aspects.
Attendees will be given a personalized printed copy of their birth chart and instructions on how to read it step-by-step. Kate Sheridan will provide attendees with their birth charts to work with so advance registration is required.

Registration will close on Friday, February 3, 2023, or when the maximum of 12 participants has been reached.  Anyone having trouble accessing the form may contact The Reference Desk at 513-3135 or LPLReference@lewistonmaine.gov for help getting registered.

Kate Sheridan, a.k.a. The Laundress, is a tarot reader and astrologer who believes that fortunes are created rather than told. Her style is down-to-earth and conversational, and she draws heavily on her previous life as a high school English teacher to ensure that her clients understand the logic behind the intuitive information she provides.
