On Monday, July 10th, the Lewiston Public Library will host a community puzzle swap. This free, public program will take place between 11am and 2pm in the Jeanne Couture Room on the first floor.

Over the years, the library has amassed a collection of puzzles and we would love to trade them out for some that our community members have at home. We have a wide variety of images including animals, plants and flowers, and cityscapes with sizes ranging from 48 to 1,000 pieces. Bring a puzzle or two to swap or just come take one of ours, no registration or other preparation required. Participation in this drop-in event counts towards the Library’s Summer Reading program.

The 2023 Summer Reading program at Lewiston Public Library runs from Monday, June 26th until Friday, August 18th with the theme of Read, Make, and Explore. We are encouraging participants not only to read or listen to books but also make a new craft or recipe or explore a favorite place in our beautiful city or a new landmark in our wondrous state.

The Lewiston Public Library is located downtown at 200 Lisbon Street at the corner of Pine Street. More information on this event and the Summer Reading Program is available by contacting the Lewiston Public Library at 513-3135 or LPLReference@lewistonmaine.gov.
