Dinosaurs!!!

Join us for the Dinotastic Live Show presented by Tumble, a Science Podcast for kids, in Callahan Hall on Saturday, July 18th at 11:00AM.

Step into the prehistoric past and investigate one of the most pressing questions in dinosaur science: Did dinosaurs burp or fart? Featuring fossil observation, a rhyming game, and hilariously educational sound effects.

Participation in this drop-in event counts towards the Library’s Summer Reading program.

The 2026 Summer Reading program at Lewiston Public Library runs from June to August with the theme of Read, Make, and Explore. We are encouraging participants not only to read or listen to books but also make a new craft or recipe or explore a favorite place in our beautiful city or a new landmark in our wondrous state.

Tumble is an award-winning science podcast for curious kids and their grownups. Each episode tells a fascinating story of science discovery, featuring real scientists and their research—told in a way that’s fun, engaging, and easy to understand. Marshall Escamilla and Lindsay Patterson are the co-creators and hosts of Tumble. Lindsay is a science journalist and writer who believes that storytelling can spark a lifelong love of science. Marshall is a musician and educator who spent 13 years in the classroom, who translates his teacher skills into entertaining and engaging science content.
