Would you like to learn more about Maine’s wildlife?
On Tuesday, April 18th at 2pm join the Lewiston Public Library, Chewonki, and the Lake Auburn Watershed Protection Commission for an in-person presentation on predators and their role in nature. This free, public program, sponsored by the Lake Auburn Watershed Protection Commission, will take place in Callahan Hall at the Lewiston Public Library. This program is recommended for ages 8 and up and no registration is required.
This event will include live animals, activities, and discuss predators in the context of the food web, natural cycles, and habitat loss. We will also go over some of the animal processes that happen locally in the Lake Auburn Watershed. Live animals include a turtle, snake, and an owl or opossum.
