SADIE’S FIBER ARTS CLUB

May 15, 20243:30 pm - 5:00 pm

Let’s Have Fun with Fiber Arts!

Every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month kids will have the opportunity to create a hands-on fiber arts craft with local fiber artist, Sadie, from 3:30PM – 5:00PM in the Children’s Department at the Lewiston Public Library.

Each week there will be a new fiber arts theme and craft to create.

There will NOT be a Fiber Arts Club program on May 1st.

May 15th project: Sadie’s Fiber Arts Club will be creating yarn paintings! We will use a wide selection of colorful yarn and glue on a ready-to-hang canvas to create our own unique designs and textured “paintings.”

This program is free and open to the public. All art and craft supplies are provided and there is no registration necessary.

Sadie’s Fiber Art’s Club is recommended for ages 6 – 12. Children under 8 years old must be accompanied by a caregiver.

The Lewiston Public Library is located downtown at 200 Lisbon Street at the corner of Pine Street. More information on this program is available by contacting the Lewiston Public Library at 513-3133 or LPLKids@lewistonmaine.gov.
