SUMMER CENTERPIECES AND WREATHS
On Wednesday, August 16th, the Lewiston Public Library will host a centerpiece and wreath craft event for adults. This free, public program will take place at 5:30pm in the Jeanne Couture Room on the first floor.
Utilizing faux flowers in a variety of colors, golden butterflies, and paper flowers, participants will create either a centerpiece or a wreath with which to decorate their home. All supplies will be included. No registration or other preparation required. Participation in this program counts towards the Library’s Summer Reading program.
The 2023 Summer Reading program at Lewiston Public Library runs from Monday, June 26th until Friday, August 18th with the theme of Read, Make, and Explore. We are encouraging participants not only to read or listen to books but also make a new craft or recipe or explore a favorite place in our beautiful city or a new landmark in our wondrous state.
The Lewiston Public Library is located downtown at 200 Lisbon Street at the corner of Pine Street. More information on this event and the Summer Reading Program is available by contacting the Lewiston Public Library at 513-3135 or LPLReference@lewistonmaine.gov.
