What’s New? 
  • Holiday Hours. The Library will be closed from Saturday, December 23rd through Monday, December 25th. We will reopen at 9:30am on Tuesday, December 26th.
  • Staff Favorites of 2023. Wrap Up 2023 with LPL Staff’s favorites! Some of our favorite things (picture books, novels, manga, DVDs, and more!) are on display on the 1st floor. Check out our recommendations and borrow some today!
  • Holiday Books on Display. We currently have three holiday displays in the Children’s Department full of picture books featuring Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and Christmas!
  • Children’s Room Renovation Feasibility Survey. It’s time for the Lewiston Public Library Children’s Department to evolve to continue serving community needs far into the future. We want to hear from you! Your participation in this survey will support our plans for the children’s department renovations into 2026 and beyond.

 

This Week @ LPL
  • Sadie’s Fiber Arts Club, Wednesday, December 20th at 3:30pm. Kids will have the opportunity to create a hands-on fiber arts craft with local fiber artist, Sadie.
  • Crafting Circle, Wednesday, December 20th at 5pm. The Library is hosting a crafting circle for people to come and bring a craft to work on. Come, meet, and learn from like-minded people.

 

Next Week @ LPL
  • The Library will be closed on Monday, January 1st in observance of New Year’s Day. We will reopen at 9:30am on Tuesday, January 2nd.
