What’s New? 
  • The Library will be closed on Monday, January 1st in observance of New Year’s Day. We will reopen at 9:30am on Tuesday, January 2nd
  • Staff Favorites of 2023. Wrap Up 2023 with LPL Staff’s favorites! Some of our favorite things (picture books, novels, manga, DVDs, and more!) are on display on the 1st floor. Check out our recommendations and borrow some today!
  • Children’s Room Renovation Feasibility Survey. It’s time for the Lewiston Public Library Children’s Department to evolve to continue serving community needs far into the future. We want to hear from you! Your participation in this survey will support our plans for the children’s department renovations into 2026 and beyond. Survey closes December 29th.

 

This Week @ LPL
  • Teen Video GamesEach Wednesday come to the library from 3pm to 6pm to challenge your friends and play some video games. On the last Wednesday of the month truly test your skills in a tournament and take home a prize at the end!
  • ArtVan will be providing hands-on creative art program in the Children’s Department of the Lewiston Public Library for children ages 5-14 (ages 5-8 must be accompanied by an adult) for self-expression, personal growth, and fun.

  • Sadie’s Fiber Arts Club: Yarn Painting
  • Magic The Gathering Club: First Tuesday of each month, whatever your experience level is, teens aged 13 to 19 are welcomed here at the Lewiston Public Library’s Magic: the Gathering club.
  • Teen Yoga: Classes will be held at the library on Thursdays from 4:30 to 5:30
