What’s New?
- Meet our Newest Dolls! Join us in the Children’s Department for Preschool Playdates on Thursdays from 3pm-5pm and Saturdays 10:30am-12:30pm to welcome our new friends Jewel, Maricela, and Millie!
- Sweet Treats Display. If you are looking for a sweet treat, check out our newest display in the Children’s Department. We have cookbooks for your sweet tooth, mixed in with sweet stories about love and friendship, along with movies featuring candy creations ready for you to enjoy with your sweetheart.
- Library Closed Presidents’ Day Weekend. Due to maintenance and upgrades of City technology infrastructure, the Lewiston Public Library will be closed on Saturday, February 17th. The Library will also be closed on Monday, February 19th in observance of Presidents’ Day. We will reopen at 9:30am on Tuesday, February 20th.

- Teen & Friends Magic: the Gathering Club, Tuesday, February 6th at 3pm. Are you a long time player of Magic: the Gathering? Do you enjoy Commander or Modern formats? Are you brand new and looking to see what it’s all about?
- Tarot 101 Workshop, Tuesday, February 6th at 5pm. Registration is full for our popular Tarot 101 Workshop event. For those that are registered, we’ll see you on Tuesday!
- Sadie’s Fiber Arts Club, Wednesday, February 7th at 3:30pm. Kids will have the opportunity to create a hands-on fiber arts craft with local fiber artist, Sadie, in the Children’s Department at the Library.

- Great Falls Forum with Dr. Kanae Tokunaga, Thursday, February 15th at 12pm. Climate Change and the Blue Acceleration in Maine. The 2023-2024 season of the Great Falls Forum continues, featuring Dr. Kanae Tokunaga, Senior Scientist in Coastal and Marine Economics at the Gulf of Maine Research Institute.
