What’s New?
- The library will be CLOSED on Saturday, May 27th and Monday, May 29th in observance of Memorial Day. We will reopen for our normal hours on Tuesday, May 30th at 10am.
- Games and Coloring Supplies for Adults. The library now has activities you can sign out to use on the second floor! We have adult coloring supplies and several board and card games available.
This Week @ LPL
- Baby Storytime, Tuesday, May 23rd at 10:15am.
- Preschool Storytime, Tuesday, May 23rd at 11:15am.
- Make Art with ArtVan, Wednesday, May 24th at 3:30pm. ArtVan provides an in-person hands-on creative art program in the Children’s Department of the library for children ages 5-14 (ages 5-8 must be accompanied by an adult) for self-expression, personal growth, and fun.
- Teen Yoga for Stress, Wednesday, May 24th at 3:30pm. This series is designed to support teens in building skills they can use to relax, manage stress and connect with each other.
- Youth Trading Card Game Club, May 25th at 3:30pm. Games include Pokémon, Magic: the Gathering, and more! Library staff and volunteers will be available to teach new players and coach developing ones.
Next Week @ LPL
- Preschool Playdate, Thursday, June 1st at 3:00pm and Saturday, June 3rd at 10:30am. Preschoolers and their families are invited to stop in during our Preschool Playdates to engage in imaginative play and build friendships. A variety of toys, games, and crafts, including a play kitchen with felt food, will be available during all sessions.
- Please be aware that our Saturday Playdate hours will change starting in June. Saturday Playdates will be from 10:30am to 12:30pm starting June 3rd.
