What’s New?
- Summer Reading Prizes Announced. Check out our summer reading page for the list of prizes for each age group!
- New Teen Large Print Collection. The Teen Department now has Teen large print books to check out! The collection has started with 17 large print books and will continue to expand! Large print for teens is a great option for English language learners. Check them out today on the 2nd floor!
- 2nd Floor Summer Reading Display. Check out our Adult Summer Reading display on the library’s second floor. This display highlights exploration as part of our Summer Reading theme: Read, Make, Explore!
This Week @ LPL
- ArtVan, Monday, June 23rd at 3pm. ArtVan is a mobile art program that brings hands-on creative art opportunities for self-expression, personal growth, and fun. All of their projects aim to inspire art-making with a variety of materials to explore.
- Adult Beginner Yoga, Tuesday, June 24th at 5:30pm. All sessions are free to attend, and participants should bring their own mats. Due to limited floor space, registration is required.
- Summer Teen & Friends Magic: the Gathering, Thursday, June 26th at 3:30pm. Bring a friend and play against one another or other challengers. New players will be able to receive guidance on how to play and get a chance to receive their very own deck to keep and take home.
- Art Walk L/A, Friday, June 27th at 5pm. Our June display is art created by local students with the prompt “I wish my teacher knew…” The Friends of the Lewiston Public Library will also hold a book sale, where everything is just 10¢ each.
Next Week @ LPL
- Bumps & Babies, Wednesday, July 2nd at 10:30am. Bumps & Babies is a support group that provides a safe, compassionate space for individuals navigating the emotional and physical challenges of pregnancy and the postpartum period.
- The library will be closed on Friday, July 4th and Saturday, July 5th in observance of Independence Day.
