Pop-in to the Library: A Popcorn Making Experience

The Library will be offering a free popcorn making demonstration to any participants who would like to drop in and watch.

There is no set time to join and it takes less than 15 minutes from start to finish. Any popcorn made can be taken home by those who participate. Learn a little about the science of popcorn while combining two ingredients over heat to make a delicious treat. Popcorn at home is more cost effective and offers better control over calories and flavors. Get some ideas for toppings other than salt and suggest some of your own favorites.

We will also have take and make kits available for those would like to try it on their own. Between October 18 and December 18, 2021, community members may stop by the Library to pick-up a popcorn kit. Written instructions will be provided as well as an online video tutorial.
