On Wednesday, July 24th, the Lewiston Public Library will host a community puzzle swap. This free, public program will take place between 10:30 am and 2 pm in the Jeanne Couture Room on the first floor.

Over the years, the library has amassed a collection of puzzles and we would love to trade them out for some that our community members have at home. We have a wide variety of images including animals, plants, flowers, and cityscapes with sizes ranging from 48 to 1,000 pieces. Bring a puzzle or two to swap or just come take one of ours, no registration or other preparation is required. Participation in this drop-in event counts towards the Library’s Summer Reading program.

The 2024 Summer Reading program at Lewiston Public Library runs from Monday, June 24th until Saturday, August 17th with the theme of Read, Make, and Explore. We are encouraging participants not only to read or listen to books but also to make a new craft or recipe or explore a favorite place in our beautiful city or a new landmark in our wondrous state.

The Lewiston Public Library is located downtown at 200 Lisbon Street at the corner of Pine Street and Lisbon Street. More information on this event and the Summer Reading Program is available by contacting the Lewiston Public Library Adult and Teen Services Department at 513-3135 or LPLReference@lewistonmaine.gov.
